Texas.Net Disclaimers

A lot of hard work has gone into making Texas.Net into the greatest ISP on the planet. Therefore, to protect our image and our property, we have some basic rules and guidelines for customers and non-customers alike. They're not arm-twisters, but rather common sense rules about Texas.Net usage, accounts, and property.

This is our legal statement regarding the content found on this web site. It's written in that special language used by lawyers, so we'll bring it out any time we have some sort of legal issue, but other than that, we don't expect anyone to understand it.

The information in our Legal section is important stuff, though, so we want people to know what it says. We've come up with a pretty understandable, English translation here that will make sure that you understand exactly how to treat our web site and what possible uses you can make of it.

Terms & Conditions

This is a copy of the most up-to-date version of our Terms & Conditions which every customer is held to. These are periodically changed (and the new changes apply to all customers) so it pays to check these every once in a while to make sure that you know exactly where certain responsibilities lie.

Acceptable Use

Our Acceptable Use Policy again covers all customers, even when changed. It contains a statement of the conduct that we expect from our customers and the consequences if this code is violated. Be sure to familarize yourself with this so that you don't inadvertently violate one of our rules.

Privacy Policy

Texas.Net requires certain personal information from customers, necessary for providing service and support. Texas.Net will not release any information to individuals or agencies unless certain legal processes are followed. Here you can view the full text of our policy on individual privacy.

If reading through these documents, you have a question pertaining to your account or if you think maybe you're in violation of one of the rules, feel free to give our Helpdesk a buzz and ask. It's better to be safe than sorry.
